Who We Are
Foundry Prince George is part of a provincial network of Integrated Youth Services (IYS) centres providing a comprehensive array of health and social services in one convenient location, all without needing a referral. We aim to transform access to health and social services for young people ages 12 – 24, and their caregivers by integrating five core services:
By focusing on these ages, we reach and support a young person when they are most susceptible to developing health concerns, while also supporting the adults in their lives. With integrated services, young people don’t have to keep getting referrals, going to new places and sharing their stories. Instead, they can go to the same place and work with service providers who know them until their concerns have been addressed.

Respiratory Viruses and Mask Wearing
Masks are encouraged as an effective form of personal protective equipment (PPE), and available on site for everyone. The safety, health and well-being of our young people and their families, staff and our community partners continues to be our top priority. We’ve taken a number of measures at Foundry centres to ensure we are aligned with BC Centre for Disease Control’s recommendations. A few of these measures include:
- PPE including masks, gloves, etc. are offered to those who need it
- Hand sanitizer or alcohol-based hand rub being available throughout the centre
- Thorough cleaning of all shared equipment and all other areas of centre cleaned daily
Masks a safe and effective way to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses. If you present with flu-like symptoms, you will be encouraged to wear a mask at the centre in order to help contain the spread of germs. If mask wearing is not something you are able to do, you will be encouraged to access Foundry Services via phone or video only.
Anyone who feels more comfortable wearing a mask, regardless of the presence of flu-like symptoms, will be supported by Foundry PG staff to do so.
