The BC Children’s Hospital Compass Mental Health program is a province-wide service that aims to improve access to evidence-based care for all BC children and youth living with mental health and substance use concerns. The multidisciplinary Compass team works collaboratively with community care providers to understand their unique challenges, and supplement specific community knowledge with the information, advice, and resources they need to support children and youth in their community. Compass can help with diagnostic clarification, medication recommendations, and treatment planning.
