VictimLinkBC is a toll-free, confidential, telephone service available across B.C. 24/7. It provides information and referral services to all victims of crime and immediate crisis support to victims of family and sexual violence, including victims of human trafficking exploited for labour or sexual services. VictimLinkBC provides service in more than 110 languages, including 17 North American Aboriginal languages.

WAVAW Rape Crisis Centre


WAVAW works to build a better future by offering support services to survivors of sexual assault and by advocating for a greater understanding of the root causes of violence. WAVAW can connect you with services like counselling, hospital accompaniment, and police and court accompaniment.

Battered Women's Support Services


Battered Women’s Support Services (BWSS)  provides emotional support or safety planning to women experiencing gender-based domestic violence and/or uncertainty during these difficult times. This may be a time an abusive ex is calling you and trying to convince you to return and may be making you feel vulnerable and using harassment and COVID-19 to make you come back.

Kids Help Phone


Kids Help Phone (1-800-668-6868) has toll-free, 24-hour phone, counselling and referral service for young people. You can also connect by texting CONNECT to 686868, and chat confidentially with a trained, volunteer Crisis Responder for support with any issue. If you would like to stop the conversation text STOP. 

Phone, text message and messaging over Facebook Messenger are available 24/7 so you can connect whenever and however you want. It's safe, private and non-judgmental.

Options for Sexual Health


Options for Sexual Health helps provide sexual health services all over B.C. and are continuing to provide services during COVID-19. A list of their clinics across B.C. can be found here.


Sex Sense is a service from Options for Sexual Health. It is a free, pro-choice, sex-positive, and confidential service available across B.C. You can connect with registered nurses, counsellors, and sex educators for information and resources and sex sexuality and sexual health. They are available Monday to Friday from 9AM – 9PM through phone and email.
