Foundry Campbell River is the first new Foundry centre to open its doors! The local community got a sneak peak this week at the centre’s open house. While there are still a few finishing touches to the interior yet to come, the centre is already a vibrant, friendly space. Foundry Campbell River is a one-stop-shop for young people, offering a variety of services, including: youth peer support, family support, physical health care, sexual health, mental health support and counselling, substance use support and counselling, elders/cultural support, youth outreach, employment and housing support, youth and family conflict resolution, Aboriginal youth navigator and other specialized services. The centre is operated by lead agency, The John Howard Society of North Island, and also includes several partner organizations.
