Foundry is committed to continuing the important work of supporting mental health and substance use prevention and early intervention initiatives.
As part of this work, Foundry is expanding their implementation support for the PreVenture® Program, an evidence-based initiative developed in Canada and validated through CIHR funded research, to schools across BC.
The PreVenture Program is a prevention program that promotes mental health and delays and reduces substance use among youth ages 12-18.
The program consists of a series of workshops in which youth develop a better understanding of themselves and build practical skills to help them cope with common challenges, such as stress, peer pressure, interpersonal conflict and identity development.
