More Youth Will Be Connected to Care at New Foundry Terrace Location

May 13, 2026

We’re excited to announce that Foundry Terrace officially opened the doors to its new space on May 11, 2026, at 3221 Eby St. in Terrace. The new centre is located on the ground floor of Park Senior Housing, which will provide affordable housing for seniors. This mixed-use development is the result of a first-of-its-kind partnership between the Province, through BC Housing, the Terrace and District Community Services Society, and Foundry.

To meet the growing need for health and wellness services for youth in Northwestern B.C., the brand-new Foundry Terrace space is approximately 7,500 square feet in size and includes group rooms, a demonstration kitchen, primary care rooms, and self-care amenities such as laundry facilities and a shower. Foundry Terrace provides free and confidential services to youth aged 12-24 and their families/caregivers, providing mental health care, substance use services, physical and sexual health care, youth and family peer supports, and work, education & community supports.

"“The opening of this permanent home for Foundry Terrace is an important step in improving access to integrated, youth-centred health and social services in Northwestern B.C. By creating this larger, welcoming, low-barrier space, we’re making services more accessible for young people and families/caregivers, reducing obstacles to finding help, and ensuring services reflect the needs of the community. We’re grateful to our partners for bringing this vision to life.” — Toni Carlton, Provincial Services Director, Foundry "
